Initially this was bought to us by a client from Missouri and was a complete rust bucket. It needed to be torn down completely. We rebuilt the 6.6 liter Pontiac engine and the 400 transmission. We went through the differential; all of the front end work was rebuilt. Then the real work started. We sandblasted all the body panels down to bare metal, the floorboards were so rusted they had to be welded. At the same time we had to find a new shaker hood, because Alan ran over the original with a forklift. The fuel tank was boiled out and reinstalled, while the body shop sanded and sanded to get all of the body panels straight once again. We used 3 coats of primer and sanded it right back off. Tyrel started in with deep black Sherwin Williams paint. All of the removable panels were painted off of the car and installed. All new rubber seals were installed throughout. A Vintage Air a/c and heating system was installed. We powder coated the original honeycomb rims gold.
