While working on this project, during sanding, it was discovered the body was covered in about 3/4 inch of bondo in some areas which led us to replace both rear quarter panels, both front fenders, and a fiberglass hood. The rust had eaten through many of the body panels on the car, so we had to weld in patches. Many of the lighting pieces were faded by the sun and were replaced. There was about 300 hours put into the project. We utilized Sherwin William's base coat and clear coat in deep black for the finish.
